HPF Director Jeffrey Rohr Named President of Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe
Friday, September 27, 2013
HPF is proud that our Board of Directors comprises a talented and diverse group of individuals, all of whom share a staunch dedication to public service and community enrichment. As a lot of the work our board members do for the organization remains behind-the-scenes, we welcome it when their work garners public recognition. So it is with great enthusiasm that we salute newly elected HPF board member Jeffrey Rohr, who has been named President of The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe – a nonprofit corporation founded in 1919 whose mission is to “support social service agencies and community programs serving the health, education, and welfare needs of the residents” in these suburban New York City communities. Mr. Jeff Rohr has served on The Community Fund Board for five years, having previously held positions as treasurer and president-elect. Additionally, Jeff is a Member of the Board of Education of the Bronxville School District. Mr. Rohr retired in 2013 after having spent more than 30 years as an executive at Deloitte Touche, holding positions including Vice-Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and Deloitte LLP. He was elected to HPF’s board in May 2013. Congratulations, Jeff! We salute you on your appointment to The Community Fund and are grateful for you joining HPF’s board.
